libpolyml1 software package provides runtime files for Poly/ML, a compiler for the Standard ML, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpolyml1
libpolyml1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpolyml1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpolyml1 *
You will get with libpolyml1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
